KIGI BENCH

A quiet presence in solid wood.

Designed and handcrafted in Vancouver, KIGI is a thoughtful piece that celebrates both material and making.
Each bench is constructed from solid wood blocks, joined with precision and intention to form a surface that is both sculptural and inviting.

Inspired by our connection to nature, KIGI combines function, comfort, and quiet beauty. The wooden seat subtly moulds to your shape, offering a sense of calm the moment you sit.

In Japanese, kigi means “many trees.” Each hand-crafted block represents a tree in the forest — together forming a landscape that honours renewal and balance.

With sustainability at its core, KIGI is made from leftover solid wood pieces in our studio — materials given a second life through careful design and craftsmanship. Every bench is a one-of-a-kind expression of its maker and the story within the wood.

Sustainability

KIGI embodies our belief that design and sustainability can coexist beautifully.
By using reclaimed and leftover materials, we reduce waste and celebrate the imperfect beauty of each piece of wood — creating furniture that is honest, lasting, and meaningful.
